• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Very Cool that you all have put that kinda milage on your :spyder2:'s.

I think quackerz is getting close to 3k and the next service. Which is good, since I need to take my lDL650 in for new tires.

I have been running my lDL650 hard keeping up the her on the :spyder2: :roflblack:.

Can't wait until I can get one.

11500 miles

Hit 11,500 miles this morning on the ride in to work. Delivery date was 2008-06-15. The :spyder2: didn't move December, January, or February, and only had 3 days of ridding in November. Not in the high mile league yet, but think I'm doing pretty good for 7 months of ridding.

Nick, Spyder1026, and Doc,

It is amazing at what y'all have accomplished in such a short period of time.

I am spending more time on my Honda ST1300 due to it's lower maintenance costs (now at 4K). I am also trying to lengthen the Spyder's life. I am currently at 13K since Feb. '09 and will be close to 15K after the Chicago event.

I turned 43,000 miles on #610 a couple of weeks ago. If the weather in California does not straighten that may be where it stops.

Just went over 20,000 miles.......... Have had the Spyder a year and a half - I bought my 2 wheel bike new in 2001 and have a total of 24,000 miles -- pretty obvious which machine I like riding more.........:spyder2:

I had to use a 1 because no other number would fit!

Well Doc, I'm surprised you are the only one that caught this! I thought I'd come here today and have all kinds of razz going on!

Doesn't everyone know the display will not give 7 digits? (6+decimal)

Mine Spyder has just short of 17k. I know it isn't much. But all of my miles are Quality miles!

I hit 4000 miles on my RTS on Saturday. I have had the RTS since March 26th. Have almost 30,000 Spyder miles since June of 2008 on three different Spyders--but thats a different thread and story.
