• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have instuctions or pictures of how BRP top case bolts to backrest of an st or rs.

Bought one used has no instructions. Thanks in advance

don't think it's going to work. I have adjustable passenger backrest on my rs.

Think this is made for fixed that they use on the st Just wasted 250.00

I have a 2008GS, and the bracket that attaches to the backrest was made by a former member. On top of the home made bracket, is the GIVI bracket, and the top case locks into it. The bottom bracket is supported by a couple RAM mounts, and the backrest bolts. If you want to see it in person, let me know.

Thanks Wylie

Different mount for the case to the seat. This mounts to the slot in backrest.

Can make it work if i can't sell

OMG...

I just had the dealer install the top case on my ST-S when I had it in last week for the 600mi service...he was selling it for $80 incl the mounting bracket (reg. $509) so I couldn't pass it up!

When I picked it up yesterday, the service guy handed me the keys for the case and showed me that the case wouldn't open up all the way since the BRP backrest was in the way...but I could easily remove it from the mount to put the full-face helmet inside. I was bummed, but again...$80!

So today, here I come to SL and a quick search finds this thread...and the link to the install instructions, which clearly show the bracket release lever, which allows the mount to tilt down enough to fully open the case!

You guys are truly the best and I am !
