Mine were in a pocket in the frunk (front trunk) liner.

There it was! It was Velcro to the under side of the right side of the seat.

If you want the kit to fit back under the seat after you use it. Don't use it !!! Man it is a challenge to get it to fit back again .:yikes:

That's OK. It lays there in that depression just fine. My little rigns that hold the stratp disappeared into the bowels of the beast the first time I pulled the kit.

That O-ring that'll eventually break and get replaced with one from Home Depot: Just pop one corner out of its mooring and then wrestle the kit out of its little nest.
Getting it back in? Well it's easier than stuffing a cat into a travel case... :shocked:

not true...it goes back in very easy.....just be patient.....

Mine doesn't have an O-ring ... it has two straps with a metal ring and Velcro. Think I saw a thread that these were the replacements on later production. My RT is a May '11 model.

Mine's a 2010... They probably did away with the O-ring because they always broke! :gaah:
