• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

took joes advice

I thought the thread was very orderly too bad people can't have a civil debate these days. Oh well it is what it is. :banghead:

:agree:

If the person that was offended actually knew the meaning of the word that they took offence to the thread would still be live, that's the sad part........:(

That person had strong off base opinions on the subject attacking certain people and once they were called out and was given an education on it, they quickly claimed they were being attacked..... Funny how it works........:roflblack:

I think that the sad part is the loss of Christian Family values in America.

I found an interesting article about Christian values now vs 6000 years ago. The term covers many aspects of life. From what I read, it appears the values have changed for the better. Of course it (the article) is all subject to interpretation.

The KKK also claim they have strong Christian family values and we all know what they stand for...............

Paul,
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement...
(And to Bob!)
I have always been "resistant" to change... :opps:
But I might have to at least try "dipping a few toes", a bit deeper into the cesspool! :roflblack:

Question: How do I find these groups?

The KKK started out as a Christian Family Value Organization, designed to protect their people, but very quickly became a hate group, they hate almost everyone. We have multiple groups like that in America that go by many different names that claim to be for the protection of their people, most are nothing more than hate groups like the KKK.

We are too quick to want to change standards for each and every "group" that wants to be recognized as "normal" (normal is what each individual perceives it to be), we try to appease folks at the expense of other folks. Allowing certain "genres" to do things that are out of the "norm" is not necessarily wrong, but it allows the "predators", the opportunity to blend in with these folks for the wrong reason, we are already seeing stories of predators using techniques, excuses, video cameras etc. to prey on folks while under the guise of other folks.

My suggestion for any retail business to avoid any protests, lawsuits, horrific incidents, etc. while still allowing people to be what they want to be is .................. restrooms that are single use facilities that can be used by anyone regardless of what they claim to be. It would allow privacy and safety for all, these individual rest rooms do not need to be labeled as any gender at all, they should simply be labeled as restrooms.

:agree: Predators can blend in with anyone and ruin it for all............ Look at the disaster the Catholic church went through when predators disguised as priests were preying on kids. They are still feeling the effects of that many years later.
