• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Too Good to be True?

Well the deal is done. We were able to agree upon a fair price and I kept my purchase local, I couldn't be happier. I should have my new black and red baby :spyder2: home for the weekend:yes:.

THIS MAY BE WHY

Is there proper etiquette here? A dealer wouldn't sell below cost, right? How can a dealer discount a current model $7550? Are there hidden rebates to dealers? More questions than answers, it's just frustrating to see such a discrepancy from dealer to dealer, money is money.

The Spyder is probably the most " marked up " vehicle being sold today !!!!!....If you knew what the dealer actually paid BRP for the Spyder you bought you would A.----CRY, B.:barf:C. return and shoot someone.....and I'm not making this up................Mike

for that difference ... I would fly & buy... save a bunch... and have a interesting/fun trip home... maybe if more folks would buy elsewhere, local dealers would take notice and quit trying to screw over local buyers...

ACTUAL COST

So true, just check the NADA values after 1 year...still looking forward to my new baby.

All vehicles take a major financial hit in the first year. But NADA or KBB etc. pricing is not based on what the vehicle cost the dealer originally !!!........It is based on the .....original M.S.R.P.,, In an above post someone said they couldn't believe how the Dealer could possibly be making any money on a Spyder that was discounted $ 7,550 ............Well I'll bet that dealer still made $ 2,000 or more on the sale !!!!!...................Mike
