• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's a scam. He's probably sold it several times already. It is amazing what people will fall for. This one is really pretty stupid. When you're trying to rip someone off you should make the scam a little more believable.

I ordered 2! Shipping is FREE! What a deal! :D

I saw a scam like this in the Cincinnati Enquirer. They only gave an email address and when I ask for a phone number to talk to them about it, they clammed up.

(Clammed up, for those of you from Kansas, refers to "clams" which are a shellfish and you don't have them.)

adpost

Has anyone reported the ads to the adpost people?, or is he allowed to try to find suckers for his scam?

There is a "scam alert" next to the ad. You need to be a registered user and I don't know what if any action would be taken.

The e-mail addresses in the ads are most likely disposable ones. IMHO.

A lot of the scam ads I have seen, the pics are from Ebay.

Told any one I contacted bring me the :spyder2: and I will give you cash.

I swear this actual bike was sold early this summer in California. I was considering getting it when we had been in Cali this past May... :dontknow:

As others have said... it is a clear scam... nojoke:cus::mad:

Kinda promotes the question though, what would you pay for this bike? A lot of extras on it. I know in this underwater economy of ours people are liquidating. I noticed the "FOR SALE" sign in front of that house. The house looked very well taken care of BTW. And there could be a foreclosure in the making here. Looking at other Spyders on the two sites there were some in the $6K range. Where do you draw the line between a scam and a good deal? But I'm with you guys, this one does smell like a scam.
