• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Too damned hot

Here it is, not long until the first day of fall, I'm in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada, and according to the internet, the temperature here is 35*C or 95*F. I was just out locally on my RT S and my own thermometer, not the bikes one, said it was 102F. The termometer is in the direct sun, but not affected by the heat of the running engine. Hey, I was also in the direct sun, and to my way of thinking....that's just too damned hot for this time of year. It's no wonder that we have so many wildfires.

Yup. But more power generated from solar power perhaps?

I've just come to accept that it's just going to keep getting worse. Hope I'm wrong.

Close to 90 here in Missouri today. Rest of the week in the low 70s and no rain. Will be doing a lot of riding this week. I enjoy the cooler days for riding. Just wish the daylight part of the days weren't getting shorter. But I'm not going to complain because the upper 80s and 90s suck.

I'm totally with you on that. I just can't handle the high 80's and low 90's. I just don't ride in those temps if I can help it.

I don't enjoy riding a motorcycle above 85 degrees myself. I would rather ride in the AC in my truck !

I'd rather ride 45 to 75 ideally myself.

The forecast for Spyders in the Ozarks is perfect. no rain, lows in the upper 50's, Highs in the upper 70's.

Warm today

Finally warm here in Ontario today ... then of course a major thunderstorm to destroy any hope of a long ride ....did get about 60 km in though
