Without looking too closely at that AR; I would guess that there are a few (too many!) localities, where it'd be frowned upon... :gaah:
Don't get me wrong; I dig ALL firearms! :thumbup: But I have a nagging suspicion, that some sort of "Assault Weapon" legislation, would bite you on the bottom over it's presence.... :banghead:

Hopefully this thread won't be banished to never never land...

Doesn't surprise me on the "sniper rifle" issue. That part of the populace will continue to try to erode our freedoms until we have absolutely none left. It reminds me of the cake compromise analogy/story. I won't post it as it easily found via googling gun control cake.

If you ever hear Mr. ***** say "if you like you gun, you can keep you gun..." be very concerned.

There is a storm brewing in some states and CT might be the closest to touching off. I read a great news article on the massive civil disobedience going on there in relation to the new registration requirements. It will be interesting to see if the people fold, the law enforcement officers fold or if the legislators fold. If no one does, it will get real ugly real quick as the Leo's try to confiscate floor to door and arrest all of the newly created felons by passage of a "simple" law.
