• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 Oh crap!

While your Black Cat was crossing my path; I dropped a mirror while walking under a ladder... :yikes:

Now that you have reminded me :yikes: I did not relate Friday the 13th. :yikes::yikes: Thanks. :roflblack:

Might this thread be a gateway for some favorite Friday the 13th stories?

Anyone who lived in or by Houston can relate to this...

Late 1980's, Montrose area, back before it became 'gentrified.'

My friend had a Belly Dance studio in the area because the rent was cheap and centrally located. We took care of the neighbors, (took all our old stuff and had garage sales, what was left over was given to the locals, same with left-overs after big get-togethers) and they took care of us (no robberies or car thefts.)

Anyhoo, a big dance conference was going on, people from all over. Couple hours before the big event was to start, there was a shooting and the deceased lied over the door step of the dance studio. He wore all white. Will never forget that...

Everybody going to the big event had to step over the uncovered body of the poor soul to get into the festivities. Cops wouldn't cover him up for some reason. Lets just say the party goers attitude was a bit subdued. The best and greatest dancers danced, and you could hear crickets chirp.

Then a woman took the stage. Her forte was the gypsy dance. She walked out onto the stage. Looked around and said "It's Friday the thirteenth..." which it was, "And there is a full moon..." which there was, "And there's a dead man on my doorstep..." which he was, "I'm not superstitious!"

The tension was eased and a good time was had after that. It was nice of whoever to remove the body before people started to leave.
