• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally got all the interstate paperwork accomplished, got a PA plate and picked up my SPYDER this afternoon.

The ride home was uneventful - except that I love the machine. I have seldom felt so comfortable with a new machine so quickly. The western NYS and PA routes make for a really good riding experience. Mostly 2 lane twisty country roads with one 4 lane stretch for good measure.

Thanks to all those that have contributed to these forums sharing riding experiences. It was the valuable info gleaned from here and the other forums that kept the surprises to positive experiences.

THANKS!!

I'm not sure if it is a bit of evil or good that I am more interested in riding than writing this morning. After reading bjt's post about Friday ride, I am even more enthused. Hmmmm, wonder if I could find an inspection station open on a holiday Saturday morning. Regardless, it would be a great excuse to get out and RIDE. I have all evening to write. Father Leo,
Congratulations!!! I know you are a happy camper now. I am addicted to this machine so don't feel bad about looking for excuses to ride. I did have to step back and ask myself, as our pastor says, "do you have it or does it have you?" This statement can be about many things. For a while there, I believe "it had me." That is not good. I have settled in now and "I have it". But I still love to ride, I just don't put it before other things like I was doing. Heck I couldn't concentrate on anything else and I was forgetting things all because all I could think of was the Spyder and riding it. So, there may have been a little evil in there, but the good prevailed. I gave thanks where thanks was due and give praise and glory that we can be so blessed in these hard times. I now remember to give thanks first for the blessing, praises first for all that I have. Give God glory for it all and even use this Spyder in ministry a bit. It attracts people so clearly that it gives me an opportunity to say thank you publicly. So, go enjoy your riding, don't worry if you don't write as often because you are riding, and give praises while you ride. All things will be used for God's glory ultimately, even this Spyder, in the right hands. So keep up the good work Father Leo. Can't wait to meet you one day, let me know when you will be in Michigan. I have to go now, I am going back out to my weekend job at the horseshow. I will be driving with rain gear today. I'll check back in on the forum tonight and maybe be able to post some photos of my Spyder paint job.
