• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I recently bought the Wide view mirrors at the Red Rock Ralley and Reggie installed them for me. So here is the interesting thing.....I have an RS and as you know the oem set up only let you see your hand when looking in the mirrors. So as many did I added the Up and Out extenders and between the two the vibration was always there though the view was great. After the TricLed wide view mirrors were added the view was really great but for two reasons. 1. you have a much broader view 2. but the vibration, though still the same, is not as noticeable in the view. My guess it has something to do with the shape of the lens...May only be me :dontknow:

RE: Vibration: Have you installed those handlebar weights that were offered by BRP early on? I put them on my 08 and 09 and the vibration stopped.

Interesting....

Did not know about them but did change those plastic buttons out for some weighted bar ends. That did a world of difference on the handlebars. Considering the mirrors are mounted on the faring don't see how they would have any effect on them vibrating. And extending them out did not help there but these new wide view mirrors are much clearer and seem to not distort as much with the vibration. :dontknow: I'm happy....
