• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TO THOSE WHO HAVE THE Quatrac-5 REAR TIRE

BLUEKNIGHT911

Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
Please help everyone who might buy this tire. .... could post here the mileage you have on this tire ( also the tire size and the model of Spyder ) ...... I began recommending it about 6 mos. ago .... it's wet / dry performance rating is very high ... however it's not known how long it will last ..... so lets post the numbers ..... THANKS VERY MUCH ......Mike

Only have a few hundred miles so far on the 205/65, but it might be a good point to note that it started with 10/32" of tread.

.

I have around 1000 miles on mine (all three). The first weekend I put them on I rode about 4 hours in pouring rain, on various types of road surfaces and at variable speeds. Never broke traction nor did i feel like I made a bad decision. As far as wear, with only a thousand miles hard to tell but still looks as if I just put it on. I have not checked the depth and probably won't I'll ride them to they tell me the need to be replaced.

I have a 2016 RTS special series. I put Quatrac 5 on all three wheels. I have around 12,000 miles on those tires now. I have 17,000 miles on the Spyder. No issue on dry or wet pavement. The front tires are still in very good condition. There is no cupping and they wear evenly. The back tire is 205-65-15 has 3/32 thread left in the middle groove and about 5/32 on the outside grooves. I started with 20 psi than I went down to 19 psi and now 18 psi. I try 16 psi and 17 psi and it felt loose. So 18 psi seems to be the sweet spot riding 2 up. My next tire will be Altimax.

Yes I agree 18 may be best .... another member here has the same set-up as you He and His pass. total almost 400 lbs. ... He has 18psi in the rear and has very even tire wear ...... Mike

I have 205/60R-15 on the rear of our 2014RTL. 10,353 miles on it today. Running 17/18 PSI.
On 05/15/20 I had 8280 miles on it, and read 7/6/7 (32") across the tread.

On 05/15/20 I had 8654 on theQ-5 fronts (175/55R-15) and I read 8/9/8 on both fronts. I run 15/16 PSI on those.

ALWAYS 2 up.
