• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

To the BRPCare Team...

I've been reading all of that ever since these were announced...
But they've also left gaping holes in the information about the vehicles.
Will the Limiteds still come with the rolling back for the Frunk?
Have they made improvements to the mirror mounting system?
Will I still need to buy one of Doc's belt vibration dampeners?

I see that it's basically a "Blackout Bike", with some Gold trim: are there other Gold trim pieces available?
(Examples: the side storage compartment, and top trunk trim pieces? Or even the windshield trim, and lower air deflectors.)

If I'm going Black and Gold: I think that I want to look like an L.A. Pimp! :joke:

I thought they were all gold trim. :dontknow: The F3 Limited comes with a gold rack on the trunk. The RT comes with a GPS. I like the gold lower in front on the RT. Tom :spyder:

INVESTMENT

I already have a 2014 RT-L with about $38,000 invested in it. nojoke What will I need to do to a 2018; to bring it up to my own strange level of standards? :dontknow:
In order to figure that out: I just need a bit more information about the new bikes.
Bob if you have $ 38,000 already in your Spyder, you will be very lucky to get $22,000 for it .........imho , it would be a no brainer to get a high quality $3,000 paint job .....Mike

I'm with Mike. Save your money. These anniversary bikes are gimmicks. I'm sure they are nice, but I doubt there are any differences not already on the current year models. You know what they say, "you can put lipstick on a pig...but it's still a pig." But I guess black and gold lipstick isn't that bad.

Some have to have the latest and greatest. And some have to be the first. I think that is great, but it is not for me. I waited 7 months after the 2014 RT was introduce before buying one. Saved $5,500. Then I waited nearly 8 months after the hype about the F3T before buying. Saved another $5,500 on that one. I am fine with waiting:thumbup:

There's lot to what blacklightning says, Bob. You can get a lot of accessories and "warranty" cover with a saving of $5k if you wait a while after it's released and not order prior to July 2017 ;).

........or do you want to be the first on the block ???:ohyea:

Am I missing something here?

The black and gold is a special Anniversary model - as displayed at the homecoming - order by October. Built only against orders.

The 2018 model range will be introduced as usual around September.
- who knows what improvements or changes or colours etc etc

Paint over the Gorgeous Cognac paint??? Faint.gif
But I would trade for a really cool Black & Gold combination, and let someone else enjoy a really nice-looking 2014...

As far as the money... what are you going to do with yours: line a coffin with it? :dontknow:

Perhaps not... but what about the extra two years worth of warranty? :dontknow:

Exacly how much have you had to spend on your 2014, or better yet, how much has your warrantee saved you since you had yours? I have a 2015 RT Limited, and now after 1 1/2 years of ownership, and 17,000 miles of service, plus farlkles, it is just about perfect in what I expect a ride to be. IF I bought a new one, I'd have to start over ................... and who knows, maybe a new one wouldn't be as good as this one has been. It sounds like you really like the color of yours, and I personally think the Black and gold would get old after a while. Not getting a black and gold Trans Am was the smartest thing I ever did, my all white one was just great. Anyway, good luck with your choice, if you want to dress up your 14, get a wrap for it. You can take the wrap off up to 7 years with no damage to the paint and make it something else if you'd like.

Very Very Cheesy

BRPs website shows what appears to be gold laden ghetto looking bikes. The $500. is an actual set of gold teeth and fuzzy dice to

complete the ensemble. Yea...I'm going to buy an unknown $30,000 machine so I can get $500. in "free" stuff. I would like to meet the people who looked at this "deal" and bought it, I have swamp land in Florida for sale.....DISCOUNTED.:joke:
