Yazz,
Those pics have got me drooling! Oh, my gosh that looks good. Great reports.
bump... you guys must be really hungry up there.. thats a lot of fish:2thumbs:
Just another fan thanking you guys for sharing this incredible journey. Stay safe.
I am guessing there is a lot of fish--because the fish are very big here. And yes, fresh halibut and salmon are really, really, good. You get a lot of filets off of a 30# + salmon or 50# halibut. Very common sizes. Salmon can run over 50# (i've caught one like that), I had to tackle it when I got it ashore (river fishing on the Kenai)--no net. Halibut can run over 300#--there are a few like that caught every year.
Looking for more adventures and posts from Joy & Jeff.
Thank you for these beautifull photos , I hope one day I'll come back in your country :2thumbs:

Beautiful scenery :2thumbs:

We planned on putzing through Denali but time was an issue. Was hoping to get my Scavenger Hunt picture of a wild animal there. When towns are far and few between, sometimes you have to put it off till next year.![]()
