There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To Alaska and Back...

"Dudley and Jennifer's 10,000 Mile Journey" and "To Alaska and back..." are the best travel stories and have to be considered real Spyder Ambassadors. :firstplace::bowdown:

We're kinda new to the Spyder world, and I was wondering about the small bag you have in front of you on top of the little glove box. Neat idea. Where do you get one?

yes, No. 1 choice for the next Super spyder ambassador !:ohyea:

:2thumbs: Bumping for more adventures.

IMHO: I like the idea of you folks as Spyder Ambassadors--you have done more for Spyder as non-ambassadors, than I have seen from some of the official ones.

The above is not meant to discredit ambassadors past or present though--so please don't jump on the statement with claws.

Wow...you're doing one heck of a job stiring up others desire to get on the road. Beautiful pictures.

Oh man! Road trips give you a new perspective on life. What's important, and what's not. Everybody needs to do at least one.:doorag:

There's something for everyone in this world. Some need inspiration from a new set of eyes, some take inspiration from a old set of eyes.:)

Its a Nelson Rigg. Got it off the internet. Can Am also sells one kinda the same. Comes in very handy for things you get at often.

Not looking for any fame or responsibility. Just keeping a promise to a good friend. nojoke

Great pictures. Are you taking the ferry again or riding all the way home?

Already did the ferry thing. We're going down the Al Can. Heard Calgary is flooded out. Wish us luck! ;)

Won't jump on the statement at all. They have a job to do and I don't! :D

Fairbanks, AK to Beaver Creek, Yukon Terr.

After doing laundry and picking up the trailer, we started back home.

Had to go to the North Pole first!

Santa doesn't get up till 11:00 so this is the stand-in Santa to say Howdy to Y'all!

Headed south to Beaver Creek. Did I tell you they have no WiFi yet?

Hubby wanted to try out the camping gear at Buckshot Betty's ...

Will tell you how sleeping with the bears turned out next...

Beaver Creek to Whitehorse, Yukon Terr.

The bears were'nt out that night because it was raining. And it rained most of the next day too. We had the privilege of striking camp in the wet.

Our goal was Whitehorse. As we were gassing up in Beaver Creek, cars and RVer's told us the terrors of the road we were to go on. Ummm, we remember the frost heaves/mogels very well coming up. Had to get Spydee's front tires re-aligned after that stretch of road...

Well aware of the conditions to come, we set out. Sheesh! They had filled the mogels in with gravel! There was very little sign of the horrid frost heaves at all! Those people were complaining about a gravel road!! Only the flag lady at a construction sight knew how bad the roads really were. Things are all a matter of perspective.

Tonight in Whitehorse, we have camping gear hanging in the bathroom.

Lazy Santa should be ashamed of himself for not making a special appearance for you. :( I hope you get a good nights rest, and your gear dries out fully in the meantime. Perspective is everything.

Looks like they have Santa pretty well protected against enemies with the razor wire fence! Pity the fool that tries to mess with Santa that would be really bad Karma.

Yazz we are heading to Whitehorse tonight (not as a rider but as a cager) up the AK highway from Calgary. We will wave if we see you guys.

Actually slept very well in the tent. It was the next morning tearing the tent down that was a drama. Everything is dried out now and back in the trailer.

:agree: Bad Karma to mess with Santa!

Yazz - you were slipping from the top of the list again... have a safe trip home. You two must be exhausted!

Riding is very relaxing for me. Once I get in the saddle, the world is all right.

Thanks for the bump!:D

We're in Watson Lake heading south on the AK Highway towards Jasper. Might take us a couple days to get there though.

We'll be looking for you! :2thumbs:

Whitehorse to Watson Lake, Yulkon Territory

Sing praises to electric underwear! High was 50 degrees F, low was 38 F. Drizzle for most of the day. Stayed toasty warm all the way!

Teslin's gas station line. People share weather and road conditions here.

As much as we would like to visit with y'all some more, Hubby has to get back to work by July. Looking forward to seeing you again next Spyderfest!

Tell Miss Virginia 'Howdy from me.' :D

:2thumbs::2thumbs: Great pictures. How about telling us where you are headed from there?

We're heading to Dawson's Creek tomorrow. :ohyea:

Guess crossing fingers helps. Today was our favorite ride yet!

Went down roads like this. What you don't see, because on a Spyder its not safe to stop, were all the critters! Black bears munching on grass or watching the traffic go by. Bison grazing next to the road. We rode within five feet of them and they acted like we weren't there. They were Big! Mule deer stomping their feet at the forest's edge. Shy caribou flitting away from the the road. This was their territory and we were just passing through...

picture.php

We headed up into the mountains.

picture.php

The scenes were so breathtaking! Can only be experienced from a Spyder. So many awesome sights!

picture.php

Coming out of the mountains was a roller coaster twisty road. Too much fun!

We thought today was great, but something happened that made it perfect! We were checking out the hotels in Fort Nelson...

Do you remember this post?

Had a nice chat with Dave and Helga!

We were friends we hadn't met yet. Till now... Great ending to a wonderful day!
