• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hidee Ho Y'all,

First day on the road and we are on the Arkansas side of Texarkana. Trust me, that is the side of town, if you are a beverage inbiber, you want to be.

The day started off slow with finding out the trailer's lights don't work. Tracked the power with a multi-meter and found out there is power to the lights. Just don't know why the lights don't work. We added the multi-meter to the road tools. Good thing I'm in the lead till Cuba. That way Hubby is behind me and can signal the cars behind. Its the bike without lights is in the middle of the pack routine. Sure some of y'all have done that before...

Between trying to figure out the lights and getting so many well wishes from the neighbors, (did I tell you one neighbor is going to excercise our other bikes while we're gone?) we were on the road by 10:00. Not too bad considering we were shooting for 9:00.

Oh yeah, got a haircut that will last three months.

Tomorrow, the Pigs Trail, Mount Magazine, then spending the night at the Bikers Rest in Eureka Springs.

Wow. What an epic trip. You guys be safe on the road. The things you are going to see along the way you will remember for life. Looking forward to your updates!

Thanks for all your well wishes. It really helped me through the last hours or our ride.

We headed out of Texarkana on 71, going up north towards Magazine Mountain. Magazine Mountain is the highest point in Arkansas. Its a Scavenger Hunt thing. Well, the traffice was horrible and we figured that many were going up there for the holiday.

So... we would still have some fun going up the Pig Trail. Swung over to 23 N. and was excited to show Hubby the Pig Trail. He had never been in Arkansas before and enjoyed the twisty roads and lush forests.

So... we started up the Pig Trail. The fog was so dense you couldn't see two feet in front of you. Scarier than going through a haunted house for sure.

To make a long story short, the last hour of coming into Eureka Springs, well, I'm just glad we're here in our over heated motel room. Foggy-rain-so-you-can't-see-squat is not fun on twisty roads.

Sorry about only one picture... the other pic is of a bathroom full of wet clothes...

We're hunkering down tomorrow, drying out the clothes, and making a run for Cuba up 44 on Monday. :D

We headed out of Eureka Springs Monday morning. It was high overcast but not raining. These are my undergloves. Very toasty! The belt is a fashion fou pas to keep the clown suit from blowing up into a bad dream...

We went on 60 showing Hubby the countryside. He Likey. And then north on 63. We started getting wet around Houston. First it was spitting, then the drizzle. We made it into the Wagon Wheel to find Len and the Mo Gang decorating everything in sight!

So we are at the Wagon Wheel with rain gear in the shower....

Looking forward to meeting y'all!:2excited:
