• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There really are kind and generous people! Yesterday I was in line to check out at the grocery store. It was very crowded with people doing holiday shopping. Directly ahead of me was what looked like a mother (elderly) and middle-aged son and his wife. Ahead of them and checking out was an elderly little old lady. She was small, barely 5 feet tall and looked to be about 85+ years old. There was some difficulty with her paying. I didn't recognize the card she was trying to use. It may have been some kind of voucher. The clerk was patiently trying to help her, but her transaction just wouldn't go through. Everyone in line were being very patient. After the 3rd or 4th try to complete her transaction, the guy in front of me said he would take care of it. He pulled a $100.00 dollar bill out and paid her $81.00 grocery tab and wished her a very merry holiday season. A stunning example of human kindness!

As I left the grocery store, I overtook the little old lady who had met up with her disabled wheelchair bound husband as they very slowly left the store together. A very touching experience......
