• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I only replace ( non-defective tires ) when they are worn to an Unsafe degree ...... If you have very good front alignment ( tires are wearing evenly across the tread ).... Even the Kenda's will give 20,000 + miles ( on the FRONT ONLY ) Car tires can go 30,000 to 40,000+ miles easily ..... I have 36,500 + miles on my REAR Michelin Hydro-edge and will need replacing fairly soon.... I just discovered the Vredestein " Quatrac 5 " which has one 14" and three 15" sizes that will work for the Spyders ... It's all-around performance numbers are the Best I've seen in years ....... They don't make a rear 15" tire in our size .... But the General Altimax RT 43 ( "T" speed rated is best ) in 215/60-15 is an excellent choice for the rear ...... I ONLY shop tires on the internet now .... Way to much BS from a lot of major tire sellers ..........hope this helps ..... Mike :thumbup:

Mike’s tight, as long as your front tires aren’t showing uneven wear or cupping it isn’t necessary to replace them when you replace the rear.

I replaced the rear tire @ 5,824 miles( I am running a General Altimax RT43).

Also I'm running the Continental Contiprocontact's on the fronts. Replaced those @ 16,804 miles. I have a 2014RTS-SE6.

TIGHT...you say??!:roflblack::roflblack:
If by "tight": you mean "Cheap"... :agree:

But that's okay! :thumbup:
I've never had any trouble with getting over 18,000 miles out of the OEM Kendas up front..
But the rear tires are another story.
OEM tires never made it to 6,000 miles. :gaah:
I got almost 12,000 out of a Kumho Ecsta AST
I also ran a Falken for 8,000 miles, but wouldn't buy another.

I prefer the term "Frugal"

Yes I have the OEM Kendas on the front of my Base level 15 RT at 33,000 miles. In the interest of full disclosure, I did get a pair of PPA front wheels which have some new Kumho Solus' waiting to be switched out but there is still tread on the Kendas so why not run em'. The rear was switched to a Kumho @ 13,500 miles and I now have a General Altimax waiting in the wings for this summer. Everyones experiences will be different but your fronts should last through two rear tire changes.. just my experiences.:rolleyes:
