There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. It is time to get front tires and I believe I have read every post on this subject, BUT,,,,, Considering the Fed. EVO and then found these today Just went for that one last look. Sure Like the pattern on these tires for funneling the water and a the tread for the road. Going with Kumo on the back. Would appreciate any comments and thoughts. TIA. I know this is an never ending question, but have not read anything on these tires or I overlooked it! Sorry..... Achilles ATR Econmist 75H P165/55R15

Me Too! Give them a try and let us know how they work for you.

Don't worry about repeating certain subjects. You have added new to the mix--so that is great. Questions about familiar subjects may be very familiar to regular readers and posters on the site. Newer people will find threads like this "new" information, as they peruse the threads.

The ones that complain about this are out of line--IMO.

Agree..!!

try them out. We have, as you have seen, tons of picture, brands, sizes but very few reports on how they perform. Even the bad ones cause no one will admit a mistake in choice. The Arachnid did not fail but was found to not meet a spec. Some folks using them had well over 5,000 miles on them before this occured. There are a lot of nice designs and great brands but all in all the kendas up front have done well...jmo :dontknow:

X 3... When some new information surfaces; it never hurts to point it out! nojoke
We're just waiting on your 10,000 mile report! :D

How much mileage do you have on your current front tires?
Deanna

Deanna,
I have all most 24,000 miles on my Orig. Kenda's and they are not down to the wear line? Could probably get a couple of 1000 miles on them, at least, 18 lbs air. They seem to be good tires and some people are getting good mileage out of them. The one's I have on are wearing uneven, not smooth, one tread sticks up and next worn down, 28 lbs air. Handles well, no pull to right or left. Tire people not sure of what caused the wear! Last trip rode about 6,000 miles on leakey shocks before getting home and they thought that may have caused it. I would go back to Kenda tires, just like the Price and Tread pattern.
Difficult to get pictures of this weird wear pattern, but here is the best I could do.. I'll Give a report on these in a few months. Heading for the South Eastern States pulling a trailer so I should give them a good test. Thanks You All, ordering now!

Front Tires

I like the look of these tires and just ordered a set for my 2013 RTL. Price was good and free shipping. I have 20k miles on my original Kendas and they probably
could (or will) go another couple thousand miles.

Could not locate tires poster mentioned.

I'm in need of tires - 3,200 miles and rear tire worn down to warning bars -- front tires appear to cause Spyder to pull drastically to the right (after two laser alignments). I've adjusted air pressure up/down - even put uneven air pressure in front tires -- bike still wants to go into a ditch on the right. Been to WalMart and Sam's so far - neither one carriers the front tire --- rear tire well over $300.00.

Suggestions for source of tires? - or what am I doing wrong.??

Oh - bike is going back to dealer today if I can get it loaded on the trailer. Left me stranded once again ---- got that Orange Key symbol plus it would alternate with Orange Engine symbol (same as last time I was stranded).

Oh, well...

Don, Sorry to hear your problems with your Spyder. Mine handles better than my truck,,coast into a stop sign with my arms relaxed at my side. "Once" only (1),,125mph, felt like 60 just hope these New tires preform the same way. Just bought 2 Achilles 165/55R15 Economist from Carshoez for $129 with free shipping and a Kumo 225/50r15 from Budget Tires for $84. Have had a Kumo for 13,000 miles and still a a couple 1,000 miles on them. They can be greasy if you get hard on the gas, but so does any tire or ones I have had. They seem to have good gripe on pavement so I going to cont. to ride with them. Not good in thick gravel but with one tire what is :-)!! I also think BahaRons sway bar is almost a must! Elka also has a great shock that could help you. Hope you the best with yours!

you can also buy most tires on eBay although they are actually shipped direct from the various tire distributors

You can use any 215/60/15 on the rear and it will work just fine.
