• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have trouble searching all the threads on rear tire replacements , I need to replace the Rear tire on my 2013 RT-S and am NOT going to use an OEM so for those that are in the know and have ACTUALLY replaced with an aftermarket tire I could use your help with Name Brand and size for the Rear Tire . Thanks for your help

Agree..!!

:agree: seems to be the tire of choice among the many going to car tires. There are many but the yokahama also look nice but no word...

Rear Tire

Go with the Kumho Ecsta AST auto tire. It comes in the exact same size as the Kenda rear tire. You will get 3 to 4 times the mileage out of the Kumho tire vs the Kenda. You can find the Kumho at discounttiredirect.com. I ordered a Kumho from there a few weeks ago and got it for $81 with free shipping. You won't go wrong with the Kumho.

+1

for the Kumho---mine will be delivered tomorrow by UPS from discounttiredirect.com. $84 to my door. Same size as original---225/50/15.

Gotta love this forum!!!!!!

I tried a Falken ZE 912. It was a good tire; right up until the tread got wore down noticeable...
Then it wanted to hydroplane on a humid day! nojoke
Kumho!

3 to 4 times might be a bit of a stretch. Not my experience at any rate.

Double the miles of the Kenda--

Not an aggessive rider here, but we rode the last Kenda until past slick for 11,000 miles. Last 3,000 miles was iffy. Just ordered another Kumho and should get it on this week with over 18,000 miles and just now getting down to where we were on the Kenda at 8,000 miles. Pleased and going with Kumho #2 at 51,000 miles.:)
