• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tired of the waiting game!

So. We were pushed back to the end of May for the '22 F3T which makes the 5th push back since September when we gave the deposit.
I got online to look around for any dealer that might have a '20 or newer in their hands and found a '21 F3T in Titanium with 679 miles on it. We thought about it for a day (Wife not real sure of the color) and called them back and put the deposit down. When they opened again on Tuesday, we were there to look at it, and decided to go for it. Rode it home a few hours later. First time twisting the throttle on a Spyder and I have to tell you, I love it!
Couple days later we went out so she could get the feel for the handling on a not so busy back road..she just fell in love also!
I have my cruise control and fairing back and she has some cargo carrying abilities. It's so nice not having to worry about losing it in the loose gravel ( as we did with our ultra). My disabilities just wouldn't let me do it any more and We Need To RIDE!!! Best therapy EVER!

We full time RV and the Dually truck can finally get a rest when we camp and we can get some seat time in to check out the local areas we stop at.

Oh, there is a message from the CEO on the BRP website that explains a bit of what is going on with this years models and we just didn't want to play the waiting game for a whole year!! Wish the dealer would have been up front and mentioned the message from the CEO or at least quoted him a bit closer to what was really going on.

Anyway. Might just see you out there!

Welcome to the Spyder world. Congratulations on your new Spyder. Post up a picture or two when you can. We love pictures .
:congrats::welcome::riding::

Congrats. Glad you found one. Where are you located in AZ. I am up in Chino Valley. I too came from a Harley (several of them over the years). As I got older, weaker, and arthritic I one with a TriGlide, but found the steering too difficult on my shoulders. Last year I went with a 2018 F3 Limited. I found it locally from an acquaintance. It only had 198 miles on it. He rode it once and parked it in his shop/showroom. He is a collector of cars and things.

Thanks! Will get some posted as soon as our few mods are on it and it's out of the toy-hauler as we are traveling again!

Thank you! Happy to have it! We were in Florence for the winter and now traveling again..back to see family in NM and then on to CO for the summer. We should be making the 3 wheel rally in Deadwood SD in July. Plan on being back in AZ again for the winter.
I thought my shoulders would not like this but very happily surprised how nice it steers. We really wanted liquid cooled and just didn't care for the HD trikes looks.
Maybe we will run across you somewhere in the near future!

:welcome: and :congrats:

The titanium color will grow on you. Our 2011 was the same, but called Magnesium then, and we kept it until 2019. We were not overly enamored with the titanium at first, but we lived with it for 8 years and 45,000 miles.

It is pictured below in the two bigger pictures.

Glad you got one! Mine arrived at the dealer last week minus a couple of parts. My dealer told me with watercraft they were getting all the parts in about 2 weeks even though they had the same 30-45 day estimate. Be safe and enjoy the ride!

Thanks All! We are enjoying it already so much and the Titanium is actually not bad. Didn't think our Ultimate seat would go with it and it looks really good though!

The biggest part of the waiting game was that we are full time RVers and we weren't going to reschedule (med) appointments and such just to wait for something that has been pushed back so many times already. It wasn't delivered in time and we moved on. Its Good luck for the next person in line for an order then!!

Still working on getting some decent pics of the bike to post....SOON!

Happy Spyder

:chat:... So glad you found a Spyder that works for you.
Yes. go ahead and enjoy some 'wind therapy'. ..

We will be at the 3 Wheel Rally too... Look for the bright yellow RT and woman with the custom painted M&M helmet.
