• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tired of looking over my shoulders...

Count me in

That's one heck of a concept love to ride with that helmet..
Im in...where do I sign? :agree:

What does it take to get it legalized? DOT approval should be all it needs...can't the company run it through the DOT tests to see if it qualifies...I don't think the DOT will care too much about the rear-mirror as much as if it does well in impact (and the like) tests...

They said it does have DOT approval, never asked about Snell though, they were having a problem with the factory, but that was quite a while ago. Fiqure if we get their attention with hundreds of request they'll move their butts.

They need distributors...how about getting Evan and NMN involved...he could carry the line for them...if they have DOT approval, then it's legal here in the states as far as I know...

Don't need Snell...apparently the newer DOT standards are as tough if not tougher...

My newest HJC (IS-16) is only DOT approved...more than good enough...cheaper to do it that way as opposed to getting approval from both...we pay for that testing, in the end...if it is DOT approved, then all is good...

Good luck. Been talking with them for 5 years. Saw them at the Indy Dealer show.
Just got their e-mail...today
Nicole said that they will soon have an online site set up and running for orders...but have no distribution in the states yet... As for DOT they are waiting for approval...then someone can jump on the distributiom ban wagon...
Keep on e-mailing them show them or strenth...Use the force, Lamant, use the force

Lamont,
What ever happened to Charlie at Impact jackets with his 2nd generation airbags? Did he ever call you back?

Neat idea--- but I will never buy a helmet with trying it on first. Get some dealers in the US and I would gladly check them out. I just wonder if the rest of the helmet is up to par with other quality brands.

Maybe they should just sell the technology to one of the well known helmet makers with distribution already in place.

Okay. I will ask the dumb question: what is rear view technology? I visited the web site and it makes it sound like some break through in backwards vision but they don't ever seem to say what it is.

Is it a mirror? That would be really disappointing.
Is it a camera? That is how I would do it.

Sounds like you can't get one anyway so maybe it is all moot.

I had the exact same question...
