Tired of dropping those washer?

In working on the F3T this week, I found that the washers were getting misplaced or falling off when I was trying to put things back together.
I came up with a solution. Put a very small "O" ring on the thread and capture the "O" ring and now when installing the washer/bolts on the two seat bolts they are like one piece. The black screws are the side panel screws.

I discovered that Home Depot actually sells those washers with rubber attached .... at a reasonable price too ...... Mike :thumbup:

You can also use a dab of silicone sealer to stick the washer to the bolt.

This is on the box --- Bonded Sealing Washers #14, 31222 made by Crown Bolt ..... barcode # 30699 31222 ...... Mike :thumbup:

I use a telescopic magnet to put the bolts in. The magnet is strong enough that I can twist it to start the bolt.

Not sure of the screw sizes on the f3 but the Stainless Steel flange bolts do come in various sizes and lengths
