• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire Wear Issue - Possible Alignment problem

:agree: On a two wheeler the crown will cause uneven wear, Because you mostly ride in the left tire track. But on the Spyder Na, something else is going on.
:agree: But be aware that BRP has informed their dealers that this is normal, so until they come to their senses, that will be the dealer's reply. It may just be normal for the Spyder, with no other adjustable alignment parameters, and geometry that changes as the Spyder is loaded. A 150 pound rider will inevitable wear the tires differently from a 250 pounder, or a rider with a passenger. "Normal" doesn't necessarily mean "correct".

Tire wear

I just rode it after my realign and big difference smoother and. Less darty and no nanny codes now for some real tires

Our roads here a heavily crowned, and not in the best of shape to be sure. When I am ryding with other bikes I am usually in the rear, and find myself ryding in the right hand side of the lane near the white line a whole lot. It just seems to work that way when everyone staggers. Anyway, there are many times I can tell the right side of the Spyder is lower than the left side, and I wonder if that might be a contributing factor. Since I also tip the scale at over 200lbs, I am sure that has an impact as well. :opps:

Since I have gotten the new front tires installed I have been consciously trying to stay out of the right lane rut as much as possible. My tires are currently wearing evenly.
