• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire Pressure

Knowing what the recommended factory tire pressure is, what
tire pressure is actually being used on the F3S? When changing
front tires is it possible to go to a 1" taller rim/tire and maybe just a
little wider? I would like to put a little more rubber on the ground
In front. If this can be accomplished, is there a recommended rim?
I know that I will have to raised the fender to clear everything.
Just Curious.

Feel free to jump in here with opinions/experience and thanks in advance!

I'm on a Limited. The book calls for 18 max. I know of no one that runs the fronts that low. I'm at 20 right now. May go to 22 to see how it does. I ran my RTS at 22 also. The RTS is heavier. Tom

Let's see....

Tire pressure is a personal thing. You have to find what works for you and your ryding style. Solo or double, aggresive or touring etc. I'm on an RS and ryde aggresively with 17.5 lbs on the fronts.
We had a wheel guy here (sponsor) but can't seem to find him. You sure you need more tire up front ?? It can be an expesive experiment :lecturef_smilie:can be done and there are supplier but have to say most I have seen are for show and puttering around....:dontknow:jmo

Im running a 185/55/14 Yokohama S Drive on RT rims on the front of my '08 GS. It is a much more substantial tire than the oem. They also make that tire in a 15. Not sure how that will fit but when I upgrade to a newer model I'll find out.
