• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire needed?

I called the local HD service manager. He said they would do it but he wants to look at the Spyder to see what is involved, since he's not so familiar with them.

So my new question is: do they have to remove any tupperware to change a tire?

I'll take it by there this afternoon and see what he says.

Thanks to you all.

......I see you have a 2014 RT........Tupperware can stay ...But the airbag needs to be addressed and someone will chime in here ......I hope ...Mike

Depends..!

on your weather and season. Here not having rain and normally hot sunny weather I rode mine a lot further. When I hit the wear bar I replaced it. Now thats me and here in socal. In your case IMO replace it prior to the time you slow down or weather changes.

Don't need to remove tupperwear but take your manual for them to see.....

Please get a tire, they must disconnect the leveler on the air ride and let the air out of the air bag. taking the bottom shock bolt out and let the swing arm drop this will mean the belt comes off without touching the adjusters. No tupperware needs to be removed.

That Tire Is..

As bald as Telly Savalas. It might get you to the 7-11 today but remember this: "The Only Good Day Was Yesterday". Hate to see something happen to you because of something so easily fixed.

Well, DiscountTireDirect.com doesn't have them. What are some alternatives, please? I found this, if they can get it in soon:

I just went to the Discount Tire web site and found the 225/50/15 Kumho Ecsta AST . . . I didn't go through the whole order, just up to the last step before buying . . . did you call them, or try to order on line? You need to select the "By Size" search method and plug in 225 50 15

I ordered online at DiscountTireDirect.com. Then received a call that those are back-ordered, and they don't have any in stock nationwide. The nearest Discount Tire Stores are in Lawrence, KS (about 80 miles from here) and Kansas City (125 miles). I'll call those stores tomorrow.

What do you think of the alternatives i found?

I called Discount Tire Direct and they have the Kumhos in stock!!! So they lied yesterday. I tried to order one and then got the "we can't sell them for Spyders because Can-Am won't let us" thing. So I looked up the other vehicles they go on and was about to call them back. Then I thought I'd call PitBull to see what they have.

PitBull sells Kumhos, too!!!! But the installed price was outrageous. Thankfully, Colton worked with me on the price and, though it's costing more than I would have paid to install it locally, I don't have to lie to buy a tire :gaah:, I don't have to sweat receiving the shipped tire in time to have it installed before I leave, and I don't have to keep calling all over creation about my tire, and can just enjoy my ryde!! :ohyea:
