• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Rear Tire

Here is a web address for comparing tire sizes. If our original 225/50/R15 size cannot be found, looks like

the 205/55/R15 is almost exactly the same except for width. (The other alternative, 215/60/R15 is quite a bit different.)

I changed my rear tire at about 12,000 to the Kuhmo AST 225/50-15, I like this tire it performs well in all weather conditions I
heard rumors that it might be discontinued but according to Discount Tire that was not a problem right now they have it in stock.
Mine has 12,000 mi. on it now and looks really good for another 12 But I went ahead and ordered one to have it avail. when mine needs replacing...Got it delivered for total cost of 81.00..Have it stored in spare closet inside house til I need it....

I talked with a local tire guy yesterday about changing tire widths. Based on his experience and knowledge going from 225 to 215 or 235 would be no problem. That's evidenced here by all the guys who have gone with a 215/60R15. Going to a 205 or 245 is getting iffy, probably OK but not as secure as one size change. Going 2 sizes different, either 195 or 255 is a definite no-no.

Agreed. Going from the original 225 to the 205 is more than 3/4" narrower. Seems to me too that it is getting "iffy".
