• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tiny boat racing

we used to do this 45 years ago up in vt., but it was a "skip jack' made out of two pieces of plywood and a transom made from a 2 x 12. don't know how many motors are on the bottom of maidstone lake.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I have a 17' Grumman square tail canoe with the option of a 5hp outboard. It will do a blistering 12mph across a lake! I've taken it out in the FL Keys. It will carry three divers and all their scuba gear.
If you ever rode in it with the 2 cycle outboard, you'd know why I named it "Vibrator". :roflblack:

That looks like fun! :2thumbs:
We have a WinterTime version of that up here...
For about thrity years; Ski Doo made a sled: the Elan. :2thumbs:
They were small, light, and underpowered.. but they'd go anywhere!
Each season; the hunting clubs up in Claryville meet ar Round Pond...
The race them on the lake!
BUT...
Everybody parks their sled at the OPPOSITE end of the lake...
At the start; the "racers" have to cross the lake, and jump on ANY Elan that they can get to first!
Nobody ends up running tbeir own sled!
And then; it's on! :roflblack:
