• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Timing chain noise?

Hello! Bought an F3 a few months ago and love it! I do have a question though. I have a chain noise left side do engine when idling. Timing chain? Does anyone have this noise? Tryke has 1400mi. On it and it has made it since the day I brought it home. Dealer says its normal. Oil level is fine.

I *think* you are hearing the normal sound of the 1330. Mine was like that. I now have 20k on it and since I switched over to M1 oil it has quieted down some.

Same here started about 850 miles for me on my F3. I emailed a video to my service tech asking if I should be worried lol. I guess not

Can you attach the video or sound to this thread? I've long wondered what the sound I've always heard on my RT is. Have talked to numerous folks but since its so hard to verbally reproduce the sounds, no one seems to know. To me, its a something like a mechanical sound, but at running speed its not steady....I call it a "wah, wah, wah" sort of thing. Wondering if, like you, its not the timing chain or more likely the dual overhead cams/valves.
