I am totally mortified this morning as I have caused unnecessary pain and suffering to another member. I am really upset.
I am a senior member here and I feel that I've let the rest of you down badly.
Ben Burped has recently suffered a bereavement ( I didn't know about it ) and I strongly disagreed with a post that he made in the
F3 forum, maybe I read too much between the lines, and I gave him both 'literary' barrels.
It transpires that he is now extremely upset at my response and despite the fact that I have made an unreserved apology and deleted the offending post,
I'm feeling like shyte.
This place is, for me, a place to exchange information, views and opinions. I visit every day and attempt to read all posts.
So I now feel unable to respond to any posts except PMs and generally keep my trap shut in case I put my foot in it.
I don't do Political Correctness. I don't do 'Nice' just for the sake of it. I'm honest as I can be without resorting to insults.
I'll still be about but in a much more silent capacity, I think.
Sincere apologies to anyone who feels that I'm overly outspoken or spiteful.....

I don't know the post you are referring to, but I am one that would much rather hear it straight forward instead of round the corner and through the back door. I have been a bit forward here to a few posts because a lot of time I just get tired of people coming on SL and asking questions for us to find answers to what is plainly posted in the Owner's Manual, etc. Now, I mostly read for learning and let the other stuff just fall to the way side and let someone else post on it. Please continue to be un-PC. We hear enough of that PC crap from our government.
