• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time For An Oil Change.

...So I was at my Dealer's doors at 9:00am.
(It had been 6600 miles since the last change 09/15/2015)
The Technician asked me if I had added any oil to the tank (I hadn't...)
It didn't use a drop!
While under the bike; he also tightened up the drivebelt a bit, (It was definitely loose!), and re-installed my radio antenna using far less Loc-Tite, than he had removed.
The total bill was $183.75, and I was out the door in an hour and a half!

Oh! I also managed to hit 15,000 miles on the odometer on the trip home also! :D
(A full year quicker, than with my 2010)

I guess that it's been a pretty darn good day! :D

Good to Hear.....

good to know it all worked out well and at a good price. You seem to have a good dealer...hang on to them..:lecturef_smilie:^

I just turned 15,000 on my 2014 RTS last week as well. I had oil changes at 3k and 11k...is it correct that the next ones are every 9k? Think my 11k was due at 12k. Figure
I will just have mine done when I have to park it for the season...

Bob is the reception on the radio any better?
 It's a teeny-tiny bit better...
I used to get nothing but static...
Now; I sometimes get marginal reception, of two stations... :banghead:
But at least this was ruled out as the source of the problem!

Thanks, Roger!
the first Season that I ran it; the bike never showed any tendency to "buzz the belt".
(I tested it up to 90 mph...)
This year, while riding out to Missouri: I noticed two distinct ranges of buzziness:
75 to 78 mph
81 to 84 mph
Since I normally never go anywhere NEAR those speeds: I honestly hadn't noticed it...
Today; I gave it a run to 90 mph, on the way home from the dealer: the buzziness was gone!
