Ticking Sound

Sometimes when I first start the Spyder, it makes a tick and will not start, then I try again and it will start?

Can anyone know what can cause this?

I have cleaned the Battery, but still doing it.

Are you sure your battery is fully charged. What you describe usually is the sign of a bad/under charged battery.

The battery terminals may be loose?

check the other end of the battery cables... just might be loose....

:agree: I agree, for some reason there is not enough juice going to the starter to get it to turn over.

get one of those battery tenders at walmart for about 19.00 dollars and keep it hooked up all the time your not riding ,alwas have a full charge.:2thumbs::chat:

I guess a tender will help, But like FREUD Said Sometimes a Cigar is just a Cigar;
Battery's don't last forever.
