I ordered the Spyder RT Fender TIPS Kit , with the Hyper Bright 194 Bulbs for Can Am Spyder Fender Tips the LED
Front Mud Flap Replacement Kit and the LED Day Runners .
My dealership DelAmo Motorsports did the installation at the same time they were installing the CB and XM radio. and in
addition to that they did my 3K mile oil change and installed my KewlMetal Highway boards.
3 days later, and everything was
done. I put about 85 miles today on it, and it rode like a champ.
The day runners are capable of being turn signals also but I prefer them staying solid and not having it be too busy when i use a turn signal.
I also got the shortee antenna and the Green air filter. Let me tell ya my major concern is being seen. This set up for me fits
the bill for my budget.,
and let me explain why, first off the Mud Flaps are so frickin Bright Red that anybody behind me is
gonna notice them, heck I notice them when I us the turn signal they flash too!
Secondly my brake lights now actually work in my mind as a third brake light in the sense that it wakes the
driver behind you up, and from the rear when I turn I have Amber/Red flashing for the direction I am turning!
Now up front I have the fender tips with LED and the stock turn signals competing for your attention to
which way I am turning, and lastly and most importantly the Day runners are so bright that I think I will no
longer run with my high beams on, but rather stock head lights,stock fog lights and DAY RUNNERS.
The Kewlmetal boards I have not found an open enough road to put my feet on for an extended period
of time yet, but they look damn good, and I know I will eventually be comfortable using them more
, I actually think over time I will be able to emergency stop with my right heel if necessary.
If I am not seen now, then they were blind to begin with.:yikes:
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being best........the judges give this.........
oh and one more thing both Evan at EVI was very helpful, call him when you order, he answers the
questions you have and , Matt at Kewlmetal also steered me the right way. And a big Thank You to
Fernando the Technician at DelAmo Motorsports who got alot of enjoyment doing the install,
at least that's what the service manager Michael told me
