• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Left front was driving me nuts between brake squeals and tic noise at low speed.I pulled wheels and calipers took my brake CRC brake quiet put it all over the backing plate on the pads reinstalled .Now my squeals and tic tic tic are gone.

This may be a fun weekend project. How hard is it to get the fender off the front? I haven't looked yet but I was debating doing that with the brake quiet stuff.

+1
Did the disc brake quiet about 3K ago and I forget what the squeal sounded like! (just jinxed myself)

I've had good results using the CRC, But riding though the slush and wet snow last winter i would have to apply it quite often, So i finally gave in and got the 3 gen pads,
No More squeal and no more CRC.

I had the old pads and the CRC, all was quiet. Installed the Gen 3 pads with no CRC and have a little squeal sometimes at slow speeds, reverse sounds ugly.

I have a 2011 RT LTD and get the occasional brake squeal only when backing up. Seems to be just the back wheel. Can the brake quieting spray be applied without removing anything and how often does it need to be applied?

Brake squeel

The CRC I use was in a squeeze bottle and was a orange color and applied to metal on the back of pad and it does not wash off.let it dry or get tacky after 15 minutes and reassemble. I did not have to remove fender.

No Tic Tic Tic!!!

Che57vy, did this CRC really get rid of the ticking from the front left wheel?! I have the same problem and it drives me crazy!!! Could you please give me a little detail in what exactly you did? I NEED to do this!! Thanks in advance.
