• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I like electronic cruise (factory installed), but I'm not a fan of aftermarket mechanical throttle locking devices either.

I have the Kaoko throttle lock on my 2013 ST, works great and hardly noticeable.. Kinda pricey ,but what "farkle " isn't ...

Haven't some folks been able to get the factory cruise control system to work on these bikes? It's now the same throttle by wire setup...
(Or was that just on the STs? :dontknow:)

Yes, simple to add cruise to a throttle by wire bike. Another member has the modified switch for sale, around $100. Great deal if you are afraid of doing the work.
It works exactly the same as the factory cruise.

Thats my listing for the modded control. I am blown away that nobody has stolen it at that price. If you buy BRP's cruise controller it's gonna cost you about $400.

Hey, what are your 2 extra Off switches for and where did you get them? They look nice, almost factory!

At some point or other I'm going to have to add an electronic motorcycle cruise control system to my 2012 RS... I start to lose feeling in my thumb and fingers after ~20 miles or so if I don't stop to shake my hand out some. It's annoying. :sour:

I added this to my 2012 RS SE5 I found it easier to use then the cruise control on my friends ST. It was very easy to install. I did all the grip changes and bar vibration weights, nothing help until I purchased and installed the the Throttlemeister. You just look for throttle lockers for the specific size bar dimensions. They are pretty universal

These will not work on a 2013-14 fly-by-wire throttle.
