• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle grip replacement - how do I?

I bought some ISO handlebar grips and wish to replace my Rally OEM ones, but realized that the throttle on the Ryker is kind of weird in that you have to rotate it forward a bit before starting the cycle.
Does anyone out there have a service manual regarding the replacement or removal and install of the throttle grip that could paste the directions on here for me? I am sure I could figure it out by taking it apart, but it may be more involved than I anticipated and may be able to skip some of the mistakes I might make if I have the directions. These are not just slip over rubber grips, but the whole grip with throttle rim and tube on it.
I appreciate any tips from those that have already made the change. I understand these are electronic throttles and not cable?

Well even though its so old, maybe you can use the info. Once you remove the screws out of the switch housing on the throttle side, it will open up and allow the throttle tube to slide out. Found this in the service manual, and this is all it says.
