• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Three weeks and 5,000 miles and we are still having fun!

I left Las Vegas on August 11th and now 5,000 miles later I'm in Cuba, MO. Our trip has been mostly a blast with just a few instances of thinking I must be crazy. I had my Spyder serviced at Cowtown today and as usual Len and his crew took excellent care of me. They fixed my broken windshield bracket and parking brake and changed my oil and replaced my rear brake pads.

Tonight we were doing laundry at the Super 8 when Len called to invite us to Bike Night at the Sonic in - get this name - Licking, MO. We had a really nice ride there and met some fellow Spyderlovers. Just got back and am finishing the laundry so we can get back on the road in the morning. When we pulled in to the hotel there were 2 RT's with MN plates in the lot.

We were going to spend the weekend here but Isaac is headed this way so Plan B is we will take the scenic route to Kansas City and spend the weekend there. My husband, Joe, is leaving Las Vegas on Saturday and we will meet him in Las Vegas on Monday. After we spend the week there we will be escorting Robin to northern Wisconsin then it will be back to Las Vegas via the scenic route.

If you ever get an invitation to go on a 3 day ride with 350 motorcycles I suggest that you think really hard about it. It was an experience but not necessarily one that I want to repeat. The rest of the trip I would do again in a heartbeat.

I don't think I would want to do a one day ride with that many MCs, not alone 3 days. That must have been quite an experience. Thanks for the heads up.

WOW! And I thought it took Teddy and I a long time, couldn't imagine 349 others

Today was a wet one. Forecast last night was calling for rain tonight but we woke up to pouring rain this morning. I hydroplaned a bunch but made it to Kansas City safely. Each time we stopped we had people following us with mops and Wet Floor signs.
