Three Spyders and a Spider

The Gulf Coast Spyder Riders had a last minute, smaller than usual group ride today. After Ed had his daily visit with the lab vampires :shocked:, we met up with the Alabama group, rode some twisties and headed to a restaurant for :bbq:. Of course, I had to make sure we had some pictures by the giant fish before we took off in search of the twenty foot spider near Elberta AL. Our GPS wasn't working right so we had a slight detour on our way to the spider. :gaahAt least we were in a shady spot with a breeze while we tried to figure out :chat: which way to go). We finally arrived...a 20 ft metal :spyder: in the middle of a field with a bull (that's no bull, either!). It wasn't easy getting a picture of the :spyder: on top of the :spyder2:. On the opposite side of the building there were four thirty foot columns topped with Greek goddesses. :hun: What is with THAT??? After a few more pictures, we all headed home...in opposite directions, of course. It was a great day!:yes::yes:

We just couldn't figure out why a business would have a giant Spider, a bull and Greek goddesses :dontknow:...other than the obvious "because they could." We may need to go back during the week sometime and ask. (It would be really neat to get pictures of our :spyder2: under the :spyder. The name of the business didn't explain any of the yard art. (At least the fish could be explained by the name of the restaurant!)
