• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am having problems with using my IPod Nano on my 2011 RTS. Everything was working fine yesterday when the music died and the display shifted from IPod to AUX. When I stopped I checked the Nano and it was working. Plugging the cable in makes the Nano come on but nothing happens. I swapped out the cable for the one with the stereo plug and hooked up my Sirius radio and that worked.

AM/FM/Weather all work. It is almost like the radio does not see the Nano. Any ideas on what this could be will be greatly appreciated.

It usually maens a cable problem. Mine does it if the sides of the iPod end don't both latch, or if the Spyder end wiggles loose a little bit. If your connections are tight it is probably a bad cable (unless you switched cables and used the wrong year), or a bad trunk socket. Before you do anything, shut the iPod off while connected, and turn it on again, using the buttons. If that doesn't do it, chase the things above.

we found out if we had a issue with our ipod like that...if we hook it to our computer and resync it ... it seems to reset the nano...also it gives me a chance to change the music...also like everyone else said ... a loose or failing cable can cause it to loose its charge and an uncharged nano will not be recognized by the spyder, it will show as aux...... also when its hooked to the puter leave it hooked up and give it a good thorough charge....good luck hope u find out your problem
