Thoughts on shipping Corbin bags

I bought a set of Corbin bags from a forum member and am trying to get them shipped to me. Any thoughts on how to box them? They're kind of big and bulky an seller is having difficulty finding something to put them in.

Any ideas appreciated. I want to get the bags here, refinished and mounted as quick as possible.

See if the seller has a UPS or other shipping center nearby as they will pack them and ship. I've carried in all sorts of things and they box and suggest the best way to send(UPS or USPS etc.)

UPS shipping center is the way to go. They advertise about shipping anything, anywhere. The Corbins need to be protected well.

This kind of shipping is NOT cheap--but well worth it, because you don't want the bags to be damaged when they arrive.

Remember when you unpacked your Corbins--that takes almost as much time as the installation.

As far as something to put them in, a good place to get boxes of all sizes is a hospital loading dock or grocery store.

I say hop on the spyder and go get them. Probably cost the same or less and a heck of a lot more fun:thumbup:

Riding is thrown out the window in repair, and maintenance cost alone. It may be cheaper to ship the whole spyder there, and ride it the last two miles.
