• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thought the RT had been vandalized

I had left the :ani29: outside while we did some errands in town. Coming down the driveway it looked like someone sprayed yellow paint on the Spyder. :yikes: Turns out just to be low sun angle reflections.:opps: Lots of relief when I got close and color disappeared. image.jpg

Thank goodness you included the attached pic...............I was just thinking as I was doing my head stand that really people should keep this in mind when they post their pictures!

Nice bike looks sharp.

That would have been scarry upon initial look. Glad it was just Mother Nature having some fun with you.

I'm glad there wasn't any damage, but to be honest, there are a bunch of people on this site that would pay good money to make their spyder look like that.

I'm sure your heart was pounding as you approached it...but it is pretty cool looking in the photo you posted. Those darn reflections!!!

I'm also thinking that a a paint scheme like that is worth some investigation...

Glad to hear that getting your heart up in your throat was only temporary!

I saw somewhere they had paint that changed color under different temps. Thought that would be nice. Blue in the winter, and green in the summer...

There are phase chage paints that change with viewing angle and others that change with temperature, but the color selection is very limited. Normal primary colors don't seem to be available in that technology.

Saw a true 'Chameleon' paint job once. Was cool to walk around the plane and watch the colors change.

Would love to get some flip-flop paint on Spydee somewhere.... black and purple...
