pound for pound the strongest fiber in the world is spider webs...so if they get in and build webs they can mess up the works. Now our spyder builds no webs because it never stays still long enough..!! :roflblack:

I am sure Can Am would do a recall if our heat problem was as serious as the air bag blowing your head off while going down the free way 80 mph.

i am wondering how webs could trigger off a air bag. could they act as a conductor of electricity, in all my years of working as a electrician i have never heard anything like this

Sometimes, their webs can create a blockage in a drainage tube coming from the air conditioning condenser. That can cause water to drip down onto an airbag control module, causing a short circuit. That, in turn, could cause the airbag warning light to light up on the dashboard and it could even cause the driver's side airbag to deploy, something that happens with explosive force.
