• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi i was waiting for my 2011 RTS SE5 to be delivered this AM when the dealership call said during the test drive a dash light came on it was the throttle body they are going to replace it now it will be sometime next week before it get to ride . How long should i wait before pulling a trailer , should i wait till the 600 service ?

You can probably start whenever you're ready. I don't think there's anything that says you have to wait.

:agree:

There are many views as to how to break in a vehicle. Mine was changed from folks here last year.

The bottom line is this...

The tolerances are so tight now on these newer vehicles, that they do not require what we once new as a break in cycle.

So this is how it works (Remember just one of the many camps of thought on this). No mater what do not go over 6000rpms on your new bike UNTIL the bike is fully warmed up... Oil, case, water Etc...

Then once the bike is fully warmed up... Drive it 100% like you will after 30,000 miles are on it. Or like some say... Like you stole it.

Towing a trailer makes no difference as long as the bike is fully warmed up before any hard accelerating and such.

Good luck, welcome and have fun!!! :ohyea::spyder2::doorag:
