• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This winter stinks so far

I should have left you in jail were it's nice and warm and you can't go out and do crazy stuff like that!

What did you find out about your breaks?

Ron, I haven't checked the fluid yet and the winter just keeps coming so I won't be driving to the dealership any time soon it seems. I will probably head out to the garage here shortly and do a quick check on the brake fluid. It shouldn't be low though, haven't been doing enough riding since the last time I had to top it off due to the weather.

Just checked and brake fluid was a tiny bit low. I added fluid but the light is still on and the scrolling message as well. I took the key out for a while and then went back, still no difference. I guess when the roads clear, it will be a trip to the dealership to get this taken care of. Don't want any issues on the ride to Cuba.

A friend of mine from work was always miserable during the winter because his only interest was riding his Harley. He took up skiing last year and now the winters aren't as bad because he has something to occupy his time.

If I lived in the southern states and couldn't ride because of snow I would be upset. But I live in Michigan, the winter water wonderland. My Spyder is in hibernation, but I am still riding and loving every minute of it.:ohyea:

I feel bad for people like my wife. She absolutely hates winter, HATES IT. She will not even try to find something she may enjoy, heaven forbid. There is so much beauty and fun to be found in winter people just need to open their eyes and their minds.

For me there are only two seasons in Michigan, Spyder and snowmobile. And I only have about 8 weeks of snowmobile season left. :( :D

Well Deb I got to go for a ride yesterday---I was out for about an hour----and Ms Virginia took my picture. Today its 10 degrees and windy---I was told I have to stay in.
This is Missouri and this is not normal.
Usually this time of the year the salesman from Monsanto comes by and gives us ball caps.
Have a good day "A"

This has been one long, cold, and snowy winter so far.
Wind chills here have been a killer :(

My Spyder is on the Trickle Charger, poor thing :(

Be careful for those of you when you are riding in this kind of weather.

Winter be gone, I already have spyder withdrawels :(

I agree with your wife. Winter is to be endured, not enjoyed. I am counting the days and hours until the last hideous flake of snow melts! :(
