• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This Week-end in the North East!

Small flakes, but it's coming down fast: minor accumulations of less than an inch so far.
Let's see what tomorrow morning hands to us!
 
We just came inside from clearing away the mess! Seven inches of the heaviest heart-attack snow that I've ever seen! :shocked:
And it's raining hard right now! :gaah:
 
10:17a.m. it is snowing here steadily/moderately. I have about 6 inches of snow now and still snowing :gaah: :yikes:.

The temperatures are suppose to drop later today, tonight there is a wind chill warning until tomorrow (wind chills -30 below).
They are forecasting 18 to 24 inches of snow in my area. :gaah:

2:05 pm it is still snowing moderately. I have 2 feet of snow/and running out of room to put it.

6:18 P.M. Well it has stopped snowing, and I have 2 feet of snow on my lawn.

The wind has started to blow, the temps are dropping, and we have a "Wind chill advisory/warning " until Tuesday morning. The temps with the wind chill is supposed to be very dangerously cold :gaah:.

Then on the Tuesday the temps are suppose to rise, that is good.
Then on Wednesday an other snow storm. This is one is supposed to be messy, the temps in the 30's to 40's WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!.

I am still hunkered down.

Yea, we will get the storm on Wednesday/Thursday, and also the temps drop down here again!

It is going to be an interesting winter. I hope this is not the type of winter we will have.

I'm running out of room to put the snow.

Bob, Yesterday the weather temp was in the teens when I was shoveling out.

We now have the -9 ( with the wind chill factor it is -15).
Tomorrow/ and Wednesday the temps will rebound to the 30's, the storm on Wednesday will be a messy a storm.
Then the temps will drop down again! :gaah: :yikes:


It is to cold to be on the sleds.

I thought growing up in Denver was cold then I read posts like these and realize “ehh, not so much”.
