• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nearing 3k on this second machine and I gotta say, it's completely different from the first. It seems to have a tiny amount of the bad paint adhesion that the Red paneling was said to have had initially(The impact points on the yellow seemed to retain color). Aside from that, no fuel smell, no squealing brakes! Those were so annoying on that first machine, not to mention everything else of course. Anyways, I am so happy with this machine, especially with the new DPS. I gave it a rather lengthy test today and wish I had a longer trip. I ran out of time and started at lower warmer elevation and didn't dress well enough for the higher elevation I made. Although the wind chill helped, my Mom was right about making that face...I was frozen in smile mode.

:congrats: You, of all Spyder owners had the best rreason to run away from another Spyder. Thank you for being loyal. I hope you have as many trouble free miles as we did on the SE5. Next time we go to Tucson, I will let you know. Maybe we can meet and kick tires for a bit.

:congrats:Glad to hear you are having good results this time around. The
:spyder2: is a wonderful conceptual vehicle and once all the glitches get solved, we have a wonderful ride. The technology and concepts are awesome, if everything is working right. I was one of those people that when I saw it in the magazine, I showed the picture to my wife, and said I have to have one of those. I got the 2nd one to hit Alaska. I have now owned three, 2008, 2009, and 2010, and am still a enthusiastic :spyder2: owner. Im hoping that as another model year comes out, that the improvements will get better and the glitches will be less. It also seems that some of the dealers with poor service are being weeded out over time. I am sure the site has had a large part in that too. As :spyder2: owners, we have watched the machine develop over the last three years--some of it has not been pretty--but in my opinion--I think its getting better.
