Hey Scotty. I had footrest put on by a guy long story short my plastic by rght foot had to be cut so my foot can sit in there.. Well now as you can guess My foot gets a tad bit warm.. Can you think of something I can build a flap out of to deflect the heat. I was thinking like a shield that I could pop rivet to inside of bottom plastic..

Is the heat blowing onto the foot, or being transferred through the plastic? Easiest thing for a deflector is probably sheet metal. I prefer aluminum. If the heat is being transferred, this may not help, and you will probably need insulation there. ..or you could just stop wearing your flip-flops.
