• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This one terrific forum

Thanks to Bajaron and Bob Denman, I solved the "Klunking" noise in the front end of my STS-SE5. As both tried to convince me, it was, in fact, loose parts in the front end. Bob had me testing every nut and bolt and Bajaron gave me specific and detailed instructions on how to pull the frunk partially open and test the sway bar bushings. It was the bushings. These guys and others like them are a credit to brothers and sisters on the Spyder. Thanks guys, I so appreciate it. The "Klunk" is now a nothing but smooth riding, no sound other than the engine.:D:D:D

You will never find the perfect forum, but this one is pretty darn good. There is not anyone on this forum (and i disagree with a few) that i would ever leave stranded on the side of the road.:lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

Although I have lots of faith in Bajaron and Bob Denman's advice, sometimes when there is no feedback it's hard to tell if the suggestions solved any problems.
Feedback on what works adds to everyone's knowledge.

I agree 100% this is one great forum. Bob D is the one who directed me to this forum, but don't tell him that :roflblack::roflblack:

I really didn't do much but point out some obvious things that might be loose... :opps:
Ron did all of the "Heavy Lifting"...

But thanks! :D
Glad to hear that your bike is "de-clunkified"!

Seems like you guys know more about spyders than the clowns at BRP, maybe you can go up there and help them solve all the heat issues :)

Seriously this is a great forum and i have been helped numerous times and helped a couple people myself. Thats what its all about.

Please don't sell "Those Clowns" short...
After all; they did build you one heckuva fun bike!

lol, very true it is fun and much safer than 2 wheels. Just disappointed with all the heat issues and sounds like my brother is going to be stuck with it because its a 2012. Hope my leg doesnt get burned off on mine when summer hits.

anyway you guys are still great and BRP should give you a discount on your next ride for making so many other riders happy !
