• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is really cool.

flying is on my bucket list. at 63 i have never flown, it has nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11 it has to do with me doing work on the runways of Kennedy airport and seeing all the emergencies that happen during a 8 hour shift working out there.

Amazing..!!

there sure is a lot of planning and personel involved in making this work so perfectly. Not easy with the international mix but a beauty to watch...:2thumbs: thanks for the link...

Formation Flying

Formation flying in A350 Airbus

What a nice office the pilot has these days. Very unique to see such large machines formation flying. Great thinking outside the box. Thanks for sharing. (Looks like someone has something against airplanes and is trying to rob your thread).

Yeah, agree with akspyderman.

I had some cockpit time in C5 Galaxies. That thing always amazed me. Especially landing considering the cockpit is some 35 feet high. And yes, flying the A350 in formation takes a lot of planning and pilot skill due to the vortex generated by them.

I had no intention of hijacking the thread. I am impressed with the A350s in formation and should have said so right off. Now if they'd done a formation loop, that would really have been impressive!

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Most of us would consider this a subset of formation maneuvering. :roflblack:

My thinking exactly!
