• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is a TOUGH picture for me to look at...

Guys,
This is Anita, and she's the new owner of Fawkes; my old bike... :2thumbs:
She sent me this picture in an email, to let me know that she passed her road test, and is now an official Spyder Rider! :firstplace:
I've told her about us, and have urged her to stop by with her "Hugsband"; Jim.

It's good to see that the bike has folks around who'll take good care...
But it was still just a wee bit unsettling at the same time...
:congrats: to you; Anita! One things for sure; when I see you on the road, I'll sure know who it is!! :D

When you look at the picture of Anita on your former :ani29:, that smile she is wearing should also bring happiness to you.

I am hoping the same for Black Widow.

I will hope the same for you too!
Her smile is what makes me happy...
This has been a very unusual exercise for me...
I've had very few vehicles that I regretted giving up.
A 1968 Ski Doo Super Olympique
A 1945 Willys MB
A 1989 HOnda TransAlp
and a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660
had about been the extent of the list...

But this one has, by FAR; been the toughest of all of them.

She looks really happy on "Fawkes"! That is great. Congratulations Anita!

Great news..!

your a lucky man...most never know what happened to there old rydes and how they fared after leaving us. Yours has gone to a good place and you can rest easy knowing all your work and care will be enjoyed by good folks...:2thumbs::clap:

One of the nicest things about all of this... ;)
She picked out "Fawkes" for a name; before we ever had the chance to speak! :2thumbs: nojoke

That is so true. I often wonder who bought my 2010 RT. I'll have to remember to ask Len when I see him in Durango.

Looks like your old Spyder found a good home

I'm glad you found out who has your previous Spyder and looks like it's got a great home!

I plan on getting a 2015 spyder Rt ,before I trade my 2010 I plan on defarkling it. I plan on taking off the yellow RT stripes , then for sure I won't know who is riding it.

:yikes:

Fawkes told Anita his name, she listened. Things have a way of happening.

So happy for the both of you!
